Filling topics with publications from previous periods

Filling topics with publications from previous periods

The user can fill a topic with retro (history) - historical data or add a retro after creation of a new topic.

Adding publication history while creating a topic

When creating a topic, you can download the history for the number of days available in the account. After entering keywords and other settings, select the option to add publication history. Read more about topic creation in Semantrum.

Adding publication history to a previously created topic

To re-fill a previously created topic, a user with appropriate permissions must open the topic settings and select "Edit topic".

In addition, the user can choose one of the suggested options for filling in the history: fill in the data with automatic manual tone replacement or fill in the data without tone replacement that was changed by the user. If you or your colleagues have edited a tone and want to save those edits, select the "Do not update sentiment when reloading documents" option.

Then select the "Fill History..." checkbox at the bottom and click Save.

The system informs you about the number of days available to download the story, as well as the number of available downloads. These limits are valid in the account and are regulated by the tariff plan.

Enjoy using the Semantrum system!
