Notifications of new publications while working in the system
Semantrum collects and adds data to your account in real time 24/7. If you have been working on one topic or selection of filters for some time, the system will inform you when new publications appear on that topic or on the selected filters. Semantrum can notify you when new publications are appearing while you are working. To receive notifications you need to allow pop-up messages in the browser you are currently working with.
How to know when new publications appear while working in Semantrum
If you have been working with one topic or filter set for a long time, or if you have just leave the system page opened in your browser, the system will inform you of the appearance of new publications. On the left side of the publication panel an indicator of the number of new publications appears.
Just click on the update icon next to the number of new publications in the feed.
Please note:
- The indicator only displays the appearance of new publications by the filters and topics you have selected, not in the account as a whole. If you need to work with all publications in the account and receive notifications when new ones appear, exit all topics and check the selected filters in the filters panel. - The selected period must include a time that has not yet been reached to be notified about new publications. For example, if you are working with publications for the current day, don't limit the time on the filter, leave it at 23.59 pm. Then you will receive notifications about new publications for that time until the end of the day.
How to receive pop-up notifications for new publications
To receive pop-up notifications when new publications appear, you need to allow your browser to send you such notifications from Semantrum. You can do this when the system first tries to send you a notification or later in your browser's site permissions settings.
If you see a blocked notification to the left of your address bar, click on it to change the permission for pop-up notification.
You can change the notification permissions at any time. Open the browser security setting for the website ( on the right side of the address bar).
Select the menu item "Site settings".
Select the "Allow" option in the Pop-ups and redirects section. Then return to the Semantrum window. The browser will ask you to reload the page, do this and after reloading you will receive notifications of new publications while you are in the system.
