Setting up the language, home page, and retrospectives

To set up your account, open the account menu and then select Settings.

Select the desired tabs in the settings window.

Interface and home page settings

On the first tab GENERAL, you can set up the interface language. The start page is the one which opens first when you log in. You can choose to view topics or view graphs.
The retrospective is the period for which you see data when you log in. You can select the day (today), the last 3 days or the last 7 days.

Password settings

When you access the system, you get a system-generated password automatically. This password is not known to your manager or anyone else, but it may not be easy to remember. You can change the automatic password to whatever is convenient for you. Learn more about how to change your password or restore a lost password.

Customize your color theme

Update your interface and choose your favorite color theme🌈

Time zone

Users can customize the time zone in which they work in the system. This setting is located in the first tab of the settings - General settings
Please note:
The time zone affects the display of the time of publications and the selection of dates in the filter in the system. The system displays the time of publication according to the selected time zone so that this time may differ from the time of publication of materials indicated on sites from other countries/time zones. If you work in a multinational team, you can achieve the same time display by selecting the same time zone in the settings. By default, users receive the Europe/Kyiv time zone (GMT+02:00). The date filter works with the selected time zone, i.e. if you need to select a day from 00.00 to 23.59, you select it in the filter.

Media types settings

You can choose which media types are displayed in your account. This setting has no effect on data collection, other users and can be changed at any moment. For example, your topics can collect social media, but you can turn them off in your account. However, other users can still see them and you can change these settings later and have access to all the collected data. Read more about how to set up the display of media types in your account.

Bot and notification setup in Telegram

In the Bots/Subscriptions section you can add the Semantrum bot in Telegram to receive notifications on topics or saved requests, as well as add the bot to any of your groups. Learn more about how to set up receiving new publications in Telegram. Learn more about connecting your Telegram group to allerts.

User roles settings

In the Roles tab you can administer the user rights of your account, as well as send invitations for new users for the account. You should have user administration rights to do this. If you do not have these rights, please contact your support manager. Read more about user roles and rights. Learn more about adding and deleting users.
Enjoy using the Semantrum system!
