Filter by media type

The types of sources are displayed in the filter panel (Find out which types of sources are monitored by Semantrum)
When you put the mouse on the media type icon, its title and the number of found publications are displayed. To filter publications by media type you should select the necessary icon, by several media types you should select the necessary icons.



If you want to set up a permanent filter for certain types of media in your personal account, you can do this in the system menu. Read more details here.

Filters by source characteristics


Filters by source and source characteristics are located in the Filter panel. Source characteristics in Semantrum,

They include:
  1. Source - the name of the sources that have written about the chosen topic.
  2. Source region - the country of origin of the source
  3. Source size - the degree of importance and influence of the source. Learn more about source weight (size)
  4. Source Category - a source characteristic detailing the type of source. Learn more about source categories
  5. The source's thematicities are the areas a source preferably describes, or another characteristic of a source in terms of its focus or belonging to a source group.Source characteristics: Source theme


Source characteristics can be used as filters to find relevant publications or to exclude unnecessary ones.



You can select many parameters, you can also select several parameters and restrict a few parameters.

Filter by source region (country)

If you need to find publications published by a specific country or remove certain countries from your list of countries of origin, you can use the origin region filter. More information about source region identification
To do this you need to click on Source region filter name and select countries of origin in the menu. You can select one or several countries by clicking on their name, and then select the filtration options: select the publications of the source by the selected region or all publications except publications with the selected region. For example, select the USA, Ukraine, Germany and exclude russia from the monitoring.






In this way we will get publications filtered by sources from Germany and Ukraine and, at the same time, we will not see publications with russian sources of origin.
