How to change the tone of voice of publications
If you need to change the publications' tone of voice, you can use the Mass Tone Change and Story Tone Change tools.
Please note:
- You can change the tone of a maximum of 3,000 posts at a time. If you select more publications, the system will process only the first 3,000 publications.

STEP 1: Select the posts for which you want to change the tone.
Or you can select all filtered posts using the checkbox on the top panel. If you need to refine the list of publications you want to change, try using a filter. For example, you can exclude a specific source or language of a publication in the filter. Learn more about managing filters. You can also select all the filtered posts and uncheck the ones you don't need.
STEP 2. Next, click on the tone icon on the actions panel with posts.
Select the desired tone and confirm your choice.
Please note:
- If you change the tone of posts using the post selection tool in the post feed, the tone will be changed for all topics that include the selected posts. Read more about changing the tone of posts.
- The tone will change for all account users.
- If you need to return to the automatic tone, you can do it by re-filling this topic with documents for the required period. Read more about editing and filling topics.
If you notice that a certain publication needs a change of tone and there are similar publications in the system, you can search for words or phrases that appear in the publication.
In the search box, you can use both simple one-word queries and more complex ones using special characters. Learn more about searching for publications in a topic.
