Positive and negative reactions on social media
User reactions to social media posts can be conditionally classified into positive (supportive) and negative (oppositional, judgmental). In the interactive dashboard in Semantrum, you can view statistics based on this classification of reactions to understand the overall sentiment towards posts of a particular channel or on a given topic.
Positive reactions in the dashboard include:
- 👍 like
- ❤️ love
- 😯 wow
- 🤗 care
Negative reactions in the dashboard include:
- 👎 dislike
- 😆 haha
- 😭 sad
- 😡 angry
- 🤡 clown face
Usually, most posts receive both positive and negative reactions. Therefore, the statistics for this indicator do not count the number of posts dominated by one type of reaction or another, but rather the total number of reactions across all posts.
For example, the number of positive reactions equals the sum of all like + love + wow + care reactions on all posts selected by the dashboard filters.
You can copy images from the charts as well as export the data in table format, just like with other visualizations.
Enjoy using the Semantrum system!
