Types of newsletters with attached files
The Semantrum system allows you to receive e-mails with attached files. You can choose from the following types of attachments (you can receive several attachments at once):
- Press clipping (list of publications) in Word
- Story based press clipping (more about stories) in Word
- Publications abstracts (more on publications abstracts) in Word
- Automatic reports in docx. or xlsx format
- Special exports with custom sorting (customizable by managers at your request)
- Topic comparison report, when two or more topics are selected (Learn more about setting up newsletters with a comparison of two or more topics)
Please note:
- Newsletters with attachments can be set up if you choose to receive scheduled ( not real-time) newsletters and via e-mail.
- You can select multiple newsletters with reports or attachments, in which case they will all receive in your inbox in the same email at the specified hours.
- You can set up the newsletter reports by topic comparison in the "Saved queries" mode, when two or more topics are selected in the query for which the newsletter is generated.
Setting up a newsletter with attached files
Step 1: Go to the main menu of the account
Step 2: Click the "Notification settings" tab.
Step 3: Select the desired topic.
Step 4: Check the "List of new publications" checkbox.
Step 5: Select the channel for receiving messages - "via e-mail".
Step 6: Select a schedule for receiving messages.
- You can receive notifications on a schedule.
Choose the hours you want to receive notifications of new publications. If, for example, you want to receive twice a day - at 09:00 and 17:00, accordingly, check the boxes next to the required hours.
- You can receive notifications in real time.
If you want to receive new publications as soon as the publication enters the Semantrum system, check "in real time".
Step 7: Select the desired report or several from the "Add report in attachment" section.
Step 8: After all the settings, don't forget to click the Save button, and then you can close the newsletter management window.
Done, your newsletters are set up!
What other options are there for receiving data by email?
You will also receive additional attachments if you subscribe to receive digests - brief analytics on a topic or a saved query. Weekly digests contain a list of publications in Excel as an attachment by default. Monthly digests contain a monthly report in .pptx format by default.
