Automatic report by topic in Word
In the Semantrum, users can generate an automatic report on a topic by themselves. Users can export reports from the system in .docx, .xlsx or .pptx format. If you need to get a ready-to-use media report about your monitored object with main graphics, text captions to them and main stories, choose the .docx export report format.
You can export a .docx report if you are viewing a single topic. If you need to get a report for several topics at the same time, you can download an
automatic topic comparison report.
The automatic report is generated entirely based on the filters you have applied in the topic. Thus, you can generate reports by different time periods and parameters. If you need to get a report by tag, select the topic in which this tag occurs, select the desired tag in the filter panel and download the report.
In the report, you can edit the appearance of the graphs, as well as the data on which they are based.
Please note:
Word reports are not available from story mode, without a selected topic and from the Tags mode.
How to export an automatic report by topic to Word
STEP 1. Select the desired topic.
STEP 2. Open the Export menu on the publication action panel.
STEP 3. Select the export option - export report by topic.
STEP 4. Select the .docx export format.
Please note:
To export a report on a topic, you do not need to select publications.
Once all the options are selected, the document will be exported. A message about export preparation will appear in the bottom left corner of the window. Wait until another message about successful export appears. Click "Confirm" and wait for the document to be downloaded.
What to do if...
- If you need to get basic data about publications, choose the format of exporting publications in .docx or .xlsx.
- If you are monitoring several topics and it is important for you to compare their distribution and other metrics, you can use the appropriate section in the graph view mode (more about automatic visual analytics), as well as export an automatic topic comparison report in .docx format. The report is generated if 2 to 5 topics are selected.
- If you still can't find the data you need, please contact your support or sales manager to set up a personal dashboard in your account. Please click here to find out what a dashboard can be.
Please note:
If you have downloaded the report on a mobile device and are experiencing problems with the graphs in the document, please make sure you are using Microsoft applications.
