Getting started in the system
Setting up topics
In your account you can set up monitoring of the topics/keywords you need. You can do this on your own or with the help of your support manager. Learn more about creating a topic in Semantrum.
There can be many topics in an account, their quantity depends on your tariff package. You can modify topics over time if your needs changes. Read more about editing topics.
Start searching for the information you need
Your account collects keyword mentions of all your topics. You can search for the information you need in all of these publications, either within one or several or all of your topics. If you need to find a word/people/company that has been mentioned with keywords in a certain topic, or find all reprints of your company's press release, use the SEARCH field in the filter bar.More details about searching for publications in the topic/s.
If you cannot see the filter bar, check if it is hidden. Read more about pinning up the filter bar.
Work with found publications: change tone, add tags, delete
You can work with your found publications if you need to change the automatically detected tone of the publication, add tags or delete it.
Select the desired publication and click on the icon in the publications panel. Read more on how to change the tone of voice of several publications at once. Learn more about tagging publications.
Analyse and export received publications
You can get visual analytics, export publication lists or automatic reports on the publications you have found, or on your topics in general.
For inbuilt visual analytics, switch to the "Graphs" view. You can view basic statistics by topic or by your search results. The graphs react to the selected filters in the Filter panel.Read more about automatic visual analytics (Charts mode).
f you want to export a list of publications, find out how to export data in .docx and .xlsx format.
Select the publications you want to export. You can select all the filtered publications via a checkbox on the publications actions panel or you can select some of the desired publications via the checkboxes on the publications cards.
Open the export menu on the Publications Actions panel and select the export option.
You can save the query you have created (a combination of selected topics, filters and search result) if you may need it later. You can apply the saved query later at any time instead of having to select filters and/or do a keyword search again. A saved query can be available only to you or to all users of your account.Learn more about saved queries.
